ABOUT
Orchestra Noir ...

Orchestra Noir is The Atlanta African-American Orchestra! Founded in 2016 by Music Director, Jason Ikeem Rodgers, Orchestra Noir acts as a living testament to the African-American legacy of excellence and resilience in Atlanta and the nation. Our mission is to showcase and celebrate the musical excellence as well as the business and cultural achievements in our community here in Atlanta through concert events.

Orchestra Noir has witnessed a meteoric rise to be one of the most talked about orchestras in the nation and we are one of the only orchestras in the world that successfully brings classical music to diverse, younger audiences. Gaining commercial and critical acclaim by fusing classical music with pop culture, Orchestra Noir has collaborated with international hip-hop superstars Migos and 2 Chainz for the “Culture” album which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. In addition, Orchestra Noir’s historic first season culminated with a performance featuring nine time Grammy Award winning producer and DJ Bryan-Michael Cox in an epic orchestra vs. DJ battle designed by Maestro Rodgers. Orchestra Noir has also gained celebrity fans such as Cardi B., Rico Wade from Organized Noize, and Angela Simmons. In our first year alone, we were featured in the music video for “Deadz” hip-hop superstars Migos and 2 Chainz (which has garnered over 60 million views and counting), and have been featured in countless prominent publications such as Vogue Magazine, AJC, the Atlantan-Modern Luxury, CBS, and many more.
